Akal College of Nursing is proud to share a heartwarming initiative by our B.Sc. (N ) students on November 29, 2023. As part of their Community Health Nursing Training, they wholeheartedly participated in a Deworming Program at Anganwadi, Lana Bhalta.
Our students took on the role of measuring the Growth & Development of Under-five Children, offering valuable insights to parents, and educating mothers on the critical importance of preventing Worm Infestation in children through deworming and distributed the Tablet to the Mother’s to give it to Underfive Children.
This endeavor not only promotes the well-being of these young ones but also strengthens the bonds within our community.
