Simrandeep Singh, an alumnus of Akal Academy Kauriwara secures 34th rank in UPSC 2020 exams!

Simrandeep Singh, a Mechanical Engineer and an alumnus of Akal Academy Kauriwara from Mansa district secured 34th rank in UPSC 2020 exams conducted for top posts in Civil services across the country.

The 28-year-old has also cracked the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) exams this year. Punjabi Literature being his passion, he had opted for the same as an optional subject for UPSC exams. He completed his MBA last year.

His father, Ajaib Singh, is an ayurvedic medicine practitioner, who encouraged him to crack the UPSC exams, and his mother Paramjit Kaur is an Arts teacher at a Government Middle school in Mansa.
