Nearly 65% of India’s population lives in rural areas, where access to quality education determines the social and economic strength of entire regions. Strengthening villages is not just a need, it is the foundation for building a progressive, drug-free and value-aligned society.

To address this crucial need, over the past 40 years, around 130 Akal Academies have been established across 5 states - Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh, delivering quality, value-based education. The impact is already visible in many villages; drug usage within a few kilometres has significantly decreased, as educated children bring awareness, discipline, and Gurmat values back into their families.

Hon’ble Dr. Davinder Singh Ji, Mukh Sevadar (President) of The Kalgidhar Trust, will be engaging and creating awareness among the Sangat on rural upliftment, education-led transformation, and the collective seva needed to strengthen rural pockets.
