International Campers on a Nature Walk at Baru Sahib!
Recently, international campers engaged in a special nature walk, an activity curated to complement the camp’s holistic approach to Gurmat learning and spiritual development. Along with core sessions such as Gurmat Sangeet, Santhiya, Gurmukhi learning, Sikh history and calligraphy, this walk offered a refreshing opportunity to experience the serene Himalayan environment of Baru Sahib, allowing campers to connect with nature in a deeply spiritual way.
The serene trail led them through picturesque spots including the Botanical Garden, Cloudburst Point, Divine Valley Viewpoint and the soothing Waterfall, where the campers, especially the younger ones, found pure joy and wonder.
In the peaceful soundscape of the waterfall, a heartfelt Chaupai Sahib Paath was recited. The vibrations of the path, echoing through the hills with the sound of cascading water, recreated the spiritual aura once embraced by Gursikhs meditating in nature. After completing the recitation of Chaupai Sahib, the campers returned to the base point at Baru Sahib.
